Gourmet coffee The Best Information

Are you thoroughly jaded with having the hum drum coffee all the time? Then its time to repay yourself by means of something diverse and thrilling. Why not spritz up your sunrise custom with a cup of exquisite gourmet coffee.
Gourmet cooking is that which is of the premier class, perfectly prepared and artfully presented. If you want the greatest quality food you go to a star class restaurant, but if you want the best quality coffee, this can be accomplished by you at home. That gourmet meal is in all likelihood remaining at the restaurant wherever you ate, except you become acquaintances with the chef and ask him over, but as for the cup of gourmet coffee you can create it where ever you wish.
Gourmet coffee is extra pricey than the regular supermarket labels, but there is plainly no association in the quality of the coffee. If you are rich then you possibly will take pleasure in such gourmet coffee when ever you wanted, if not it would be a pleasant thing to stock for weekends or when ever you had unique guests over for a stopover.
To create your own gourmet coffee, get going with the coffee beans. Gourmet Coffee beans can be obtained in quite a few varieties, by the pound or by the kilo and there are many kinds from which to choose. Some of the most admired gourmet coffee beans include Kona, Jamaican Blue Mountain, and Sumatra types.
Coffee beans are similar to wine in that they tag the coffee beans after the area of source. In the world of wine you have the well-liked Sonoma wines which come from Sonoma Valley in California. In the world of coffee the equal would be Kona coffee beans which come from Kona, Hawaii.
Kona coffee beans are nurtured in rich volcanic soil and the tranquil steamy climate of the Kona coffee belt lying on the west section of Hawaii. It has a magnificently rounded, abundant and mellifluous flavor in the midst of small or no bitter after taste. Be definite that you purchase Kona coffee beans and not a Kona mixture. A Kona combination can with authorization be labelled the same as Kona as it consists of as little as 10% of authentic Kona coffee bean.
So, you will need to grind your gourmet coffee beans. Ground coffee begins to lose its flavor as soon as it has been grinded along with open to the fresh air.
So to keep the best crispness you will no more than grind what you need for that one gourmet cup of coffee. You will want to grind your coffee beans until they are extremely fine, but dont bruise them into dust. If the ground coffee is too fine, the heat of your coffee device will dry up all the oils of the coffee bean and it is this part that gives the gourmet coffee its delicate flavour.
An added key element in excellent coffee creation is to sanitize your coffee machine on a day by day basis. A tidy coffee appliance makes a key difference in the ultimate flavor of your coffee. Not less than once a month use a combination of 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water into your coffee maker. Allow the blend to travel throughout the total brewing process. Repeat the course of action once more using only water this time to clean out any cast-offs or vinegar left within. Carry out this until the smell of vinegar is no more.
Now your job is over and it is time for the coffee machine to pull its weight. Use fresh filtered water and fill the coffee device to the most wanted level. Use about 6 ounces of water for every 2 heaping tablespoons of coffee. Turn it on and stay there as it brews. Can't you smell that pleasant aroma?
Everyday coffee is perfect for various use. However ocassionally you must pleasure yourself to something exceptional. And what better approach to commencement that special time than with a exceptional cup of coffee. Gourmet coffees can really start up your day.

Top 5 Features of PhotoShop

Photoshop is without a doubt, the best image editing software around, so much so that it is synonymous with image editing itself. It can be used to add any type of effect to an image and is the most commonly used software to design logos & banners. Below are some of the most versatile and helpful features that Photoshop offers:

1. Layers - Many a time, if you made a mistake while editing or creating an image, you have to do it all over again, but this feature of Photoshop allows you to separate the different elements of your file into separate digital "transparent sheets" so one element can be edited independently. The various kinds of layer in Photoshop are - image layer, layer mask, adjustment layer, type layer, vector layer, layer style and fill layer and you can manage all these in the layer pallet.
2. Smart Objects - Smart Objects are like vector image data, imported from another photoshop file that you can scale, rotate, skew and warp without affecting the quality of the data itself, thus enabling you to play with different scales and positions without loss of quality.
3. Feather - Feather is blurring the edges of images (specifically bitmap). This is done to camouflage the edges of another image placed in an image without it being noticed when you cut & paste a part of the image from one place to another. This makes it difficult for the viewer to determine whether the image is edited or is the original image.
4. Healing brush and Patch tool - These tools were introduced in version 7 and had made editing much easier. These two tools are mostly like the Clone tool (which was the choice in the earlier versions of photoshop) except that they clone only the texture of the source.
5. Color Management - Photoshop 5 came with this feature and it is considered as the most important feature in the history of photoshop. It introduced the concept of device-independent working spaces which became the foundation for color management inside Photoshop. Color Spaces varied earlier from one monitor to another but this problem was solved with the introduction of this feature. Now it is possible to use one's calibrated monitor as a soft proofing device, using Photoshop as the lynchpin in the color management process.
These are five of the most useful features that have made photoshop the best in the image editing field. Of course the vast array of the other features provided with the application is what makes it the most versatile image editing tool on the market.

Top 5 Benefits of Using WordPress For your Website.

If you have never built a website before, one of the quickest and easiest ways to get your first domain live and operational in only minutes is to install WordPress on your website.
WordPress is a blogging platform that allows you to have a pre-built website for free that will allow you to focus on the more important items like content, and if you desire it, sales and profits.
WordPress Benefits
In more than a decade online, I have literally built dozens of websites, many from the ground up... But since I discovered the ease of use and powerful flexibility of the WordPress platform, I am building most of my newest websites under this Content Management System (CMS).
The reasons I prefer the WordPress blogging platform are many, but I will sum it up with the following five key benefits:
1. Quick and Easy Installation - If you have a web hosting company that runs cPanelX as your webmasters' control panel (many of the more popular web hosting companies do), then you will find an option in your control panel called, "Fantastico De Luxe". When you click on the Fantastico icon, you will be taken to a page where you can add a multitude of free applications to your website, by following some simple instructions. Just click on the WordPress link to install WordPress on your website. The software will ask you some basic general information, then do the full install of one of the most recent WordPress builds into your website.
2. Website Themes - Few webmasters want to use the generic WordPress Theme that ships with WordPress. The default WP Theme is plain Jane, and to my taste, perfectly drab. There are many people who design custom WordPress Themes that you can easily upload to your domain, to change the appearance and feel of your WordPress website. Some of the WP Themes are paid versions, but most of them are free. There are more than one thousand themes loaded directly into the WordPress website ( wordpress.org/extend/themes/ ), from which you can choose, although you are not limited to just the themes loaded into the WordPress website.
3. Website Functionality - Just like with the WordPress Themes, if there is a specific functionality you want your blog to perform, there are programmers out there who have made WordPress Plugins that will do for you those things you would like to do. There are nearly 8,000 WordPress Plugins on the WordPress.org website ( wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ ), and thousands more that are not in the WordPress database. If you find a Plugin you want, just download, unzip, and upload it to the appropriate Plugin directory on your blog. After you have uploaded the Plugin, simply go to the Admin area of your Blog to activate the software.
4. Open Source - WordPress has been built in PHP, and its source code is visible to everyone who wants to look at it. On top of that, WordPress has included comprehensive documentation and a range of functions to help programmers work within the WordPress Codex. Anyone with a minimal knowledge of PHP can program WordPress Themes and Plugins, without too much effort.
5. Self-Updating - In recent versions, WordPress has included a feature that will notify you if upgrades are available for the basic WordPress operating system or your chosen WP Plugins. When upgrades become available, you will be notified, and often you only need to click a link to automatically install the upgrades and updates.
I have a friend who is a PHP coder by trade. I try not to mention WordPress in his presence, because every time I do so, I get an ear-full of "WordPress Sucks..."
To be honest with you, I still like WordPress... I like it, because it is easy to install and maintain, and I can improve it easily by using templates and plugins.
I am a coder, but life is too short to spend all of my time coding new websites... I am happy to spend my time creating content that will lead to sales... So for me, WordPress is good, and I am happy to put it on as many websites as I need to do...
If you are new to the Internet, then you might agree that WordPress is a blessing to those of us, who have more important things to do than to recreate the wheel...
Barry Prouty writes about the WordPress blogging platform. He covers topics such as WordPress Templates, WordPress Plugins, and the WordPress Codex (for programmers). 1 in 5 People Risk Their Life to Text While Driving

Breakthrough technology reads messages to you, puts brakes on danger

Howard Leventhal

Years ago, no one would have ever thought to do something as dangerous as read or type a business letter while driving. Nowadays, its standard operating procedure for millions of Americans. So hooked on staying connected, many people cant ignore their Blackberrys while driving, even though they know its dangerous-- an alarming trend. A recent survey by Nationwide Insurance found that 1 in 5 people text while driving. The numbers jump to 1 in 3 among 18-34 year olds. Perhaps even more disturbing, insurers predict this trend will only increase as more and more people get access to mobile devices with messaging technologies.
The consequences of reading email while driving can be horrific. Thats what led USTelematics, Inc. to focus on creating technology to keep drivers connected to their messages and their steering wheel. The result: Vivee, short for Voice Interactive Voice Enhanced Email. Vivee is an amazing new service that reads your email or text to you. Thats right, Vivee actually talks; a little animated character or avatar appears on the screen of your device and appears to speak incoming messages to you. Your hands stay on the wheel and your eyes stay on the road, where they belong.
Safety should be our primary concern when drivingthats what makes Vivee such a remarkable and timely development, says Charlene Montalbano, Product Manager of USTelematics, Inc. Insurance studies show that distracted drivers cause 80% of all traffic crashes, so several states already have laws banning the use of handheld cell phones while driving. Now, lawmakers are becoming more precise and targeted in the approach to eliminating driver distractions for drivers by considering laws that specifically ban text messaging and reading email while driving. Vivee will not only keep your focus safely on the road, ultimately, she may help you avoid a ticket.
When you have incoming emails or texts, Vivee alerts you so that you can listen to your messages instead of trying to read them. Vivee connects to the internet through the Verizon Wireless EVDO high speed network. When Vivee is fully installed in any compatible device, including laptops and USTelematics Multimedia Car Pcs, it also brings full wireless internet connectivity with it, at speeds on par with many DSL services. In its first release, Vivee is compatible with all current windows operating systems and the smart phone. US Telematics plans to release adapting software for the Apple IPhone by late summer and a IPhone compatible version of Vivee by the end of the summer.
Another option for business and recreational travelers alike is Vivee2go, a portable multimedia device about the size of 2 decks of playing cards. Vivee2go is particularly attractive to families on the go because it can be linked to Web-augmented GPS navigation and play music and movies-- all in one convenient, compact device.
While Vivee has broad appeal to just about anyone who wants to drive safely yet still receive emails, Montalbano says another practical benefit is for individuals with vision problems. We are excited about the adaptive possibilities Vivee offers, says Montalbano. Vivee speaks and reads messagesthis will level the playing field in business and education for those with vision disabilities. The ability to receive emails and texts without human assistance may change the lives of many people.
Vivee was created after USTelematics CEO Howard Leventhal had a close call with his 6-year-old daughter in the car. Howard was driving about 45 mph while texting and he looked up to see a car 100 feet ahead of himfully stopped, says Montalbano. He slammed on the brakes and stopped just inches shy of impact. Later that night after the adrenalin wore off, the idea for Vivee popped into his head.
The creation of Vivee is a pivotal technological event because its the type of invention that will dramatically change the way we communicate when were on-the-go. Weve all become so conditioned to being accessible at all times, we look back and wonder how we ever managed without cell phones, says Montalbano. Once PDAs hit the scene, they became indispensable. Now that you wont be forced to cut the cord on your incoming information with Vivee-- well wonder what we did before Vivee!

Secrets of Skateboarding- Trick Secrets Exposed.

The real and only way to get better at skateboarding.
Clear, easy to understand and detailed instructions for landing every trick
A simple and effective technique that will allow you land a trick close to 100% of the time
A little known technique to keep your mind constantly working on learning tricks
An explosive practice routine that guarantee results in the shortest amount of time
Much, much more. Skateboarding is the act of riding on and performing tricks with a skateboard. A person who skateboards is referred to as a skateboarder, skater or "shredder".
Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a job, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. Eighty-five percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male.
Skateboarding is relatively modern. A key skateboarding trick, the ollie, was only developed in the late 1970s. This ollie was used only on vertical ramps on flat ground. A decade later, freestyle skateboarder invented the kickflip which before was called a Magic Flip.
With the evolution of skateparks and ramp riding, the skateboard began to change. Early skate tricks had consisted mainly of two-dimensional manoeuvres (e.g. riding on only two wheels (wheelie, a.k.a. manual), spinning like an ice skater on the back wheels (a 360 pivot), high jumping over a bar (nowadays called a "Hippie Jump"), long jumping from one board to another (often over a line of small barrels or fearless teenagers lying on their backs), and slalom.
In 1976, skateboarding was transformed by the invention of the first modern skateboarding trick by Alan "Ollie" Gelfand, the Ollie (skateboarding trick). It remained largely a unique Florida trick from 1976 until the summer of 1978, when Gelfand made his first visit to California. Gelfand and his revolutionary maneuver caught the attention of the West Coast skaters and the media where it began to spread worldwide.
The ollie was reinvented by Rodney Mullen in 1982, who adapted it to freestyle skating by ollieing on flat ground rather than out of a vert ramp. Mullen also invented the ollie kickflip, which, at the time of its invention, was dubbed the "magic flip." The flat ground ollie allowed skateboarders to perform tricks in mid-air without any more equipment than the skateboard itself. The development of these complex tricks by Rodney Mullen and others transformed skateboarding. Skateboarders began performing their tricks down stair sets and on other urban obstacles - they were no longer confined to empty pools and expensive wooden ramps. a hilarious tidbit: the ollie originally as a tricktip in thrasher magazine as the "ollie prop pop".
The act of "ollieing" onto an obstacle and sliding along it on the trucks of the board is known as grinding, and has become a mainstay of modern skateboarding. Types of grinds include the 50-50 grind (balancing on the front and back trucks while grinding a rail), the 5-0 grind (balancing on only the back truck while grinding a rail) the nose grind (balancing on only the front truck while grinding a rail), and the crooked grind (balancing on the front truck at an angle with nose touching while grinding) among many others. There are various other grinds that involve touching both the trucks and the deck to the rail, ledge, or lip. The most common of these is the smith grind, in which the rider balances over the back truck while touching the outer middle of the board to the grinding surface in the direction from which he or she ollied. Popping and landing on the back truck and touching the inner edge of the board, i.e. popping "over", is known as a feeble grind. Slides such as boardslides, lipslides, noseslides, and tailslides are on the wooden deck of the skateboard, rather than on the trucks.
One trick that doesn't fit these categories is the Darkslide (Invented by Rodney Mullen) which consists of sliding on the top (griptape side) of the board. The bluntslide, when performed on a ledge, which basically means the wheels are sliding. Another slide/grind trick that does not conform to the ordinary categories is the primo slide, invented by Primo Desidero; it consists of sliding on the board (albeit a flat surface rather than a ledge, rail or lip) while it is on its side, sliding on the ends of the axle bolts and the thin dimension of the board, pointing and moving the same way as one would ride it.

Baseball Hitting Tips- The Top 11

How many articles have you read that contain the top 10 baseball hitting tips? There are actually dozens of hitting tips but I'm going to go over the top 11. It's time to rev things up and give you some high level tips that will help you immediately.
Baseball is a thinking man's game so you really need to read these tips and think about them before running out to the field and trying them out. You should also visualize yourself putting these tips to action and then you're ready to hit.
Be a confident hitter. Every time you go up to bat you should have the confidence that you can hit any ball in the strike zone. Be patient and always be ready to attack the ball.
Know your mission. Every time you go up to bat you need a mission. Is there a runner on third base that you need to get home? Is there a runner on second base with no one out that you need to get over to third? Be mentally prepared for your mission.
Know the strike zone. Be patient and disciplined and wait for a good pitch to hit in the strike zone. If you do that the pitchers will be less likely to throw you anything out of the strike zone that you might otherwise chase.
Have consistent hitting preparation. Whether you're on the bench waiting for your turn to hit or on deck, always have good mental preparation. Check the pitcher out and see how he pitches and look to see what kind of pitches he's throwing. Look at where all the fielders are positioned and understand the best you can the kind of calls the umpire is making.
Find a comfortable hitting stance. The key is to be as comfortable as possible in the batters box. Find foot positioning that is right for you. If you are uncomfortable in the box then it will mess with your head and your other mechanics will be off.
Strive for a consistent swing. Whether the ball is pitched outside or inside, be sure to keep the same smooth swing. You may need to adjust your timing or what part of the zone you swing at, but never change your swing.
Shake slumps quickly. Nobody likes to be in a hitting slump but even the pros have them every now and then. Avoid the mental slumps by never doubting yourself at the plate. If you're striking out a lot it's because you're swinging at bad pitches. Try and be more selective.
Hitting zones. Know the different types of hitting zones and master them, whether it's the back of the plate, middle of the plate or front half of the plate.
There's more to hitting than just home runs. Try to be a consistent hitter and hit to all fields. This will make the defense play you honestly. There are many other things to do in hitting than home runs. Hit and run, bunts, opposite field hitting and more.
The final two tips I have are to recognize each pitch that is thrown and remember that each spot in the lineup has a purpose, whether it's leadoff, cleanup or the number 9 spot.
Jeffery A Wise invites you to learn the proven system of baseball hitting tips so that you can learn how to hit a baseball better. Start learning today at http://www.baseballhittingtipsonline.com by reading our information and downloading our free report.

How Juice Fasting Can Rejuvenate your Health.

If you're looking for a quick natural way to rejuvenate and detoxify your body and health, consider doing a seven day juice fast. By taking the time to get back to basics with your body you will discover how easily and naturally you can heal pain in your joints, skin problems, heavy periods and hot flashes for menopausal women. But this is just the tip of the iceberg. In my opinion, fasting combined with drinking live vegetable juice can heal many of the ailments that people suffer from today.
I think that if we would just try natural healing before undergoing invasive medical procedures or taking prescription medication we could open our eyes to the natural cure that nature has provided us: food.
Every person in our modern society would benefit from a juice fast. We are so exposed in our everyday lives to toxins in the air, in our food, not to mention the water, and through products that we think might be harmless such as detergents that harm us by exposing us to chemicals that dangerously mimic estrogen levels in our bodies. This "false" estrogen is responsible for cysts in the breasts of women, infertility in both sexes, and eventually cancer.
A vegetable juice fast will completely clean our bodies of the poisons and toxins that are diminishing our quality of life. And a wonderful result of such a cleanse is the rejuvenating effect that it has on our appearance and our soaring energy.
Most people aren't aware of how easy and enjoyable it can be to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables for juicing. You would need to concentrate on juicing leafy greens such as spinach and kale, apples and carrots for sweetness and taste, celery as natural sodium, and cucumbers are amazing. By drinking a liter of these vegetables every day for seven days you will experience a thorough cleanse of the skin, lose between 5 and 7 pounds, and experience an increase in energy and sleeping hours. For a more intense and full cleanse, I recommend doing a three week juice fast in which you would have three colon hydrotherapy sessions, one per week, in order to better clean out your digestive system to allow the toxins to exit more easily.
So why do I recommend that you do a fast, meaning not eating and only drinking juice? Because, have you ever noticed how we feel tired or even sleepy after a big meal? Well, that's because digestion takes a lot of energy to do. So by not eating solid foods our body dedicates that energy to cleansing and repairing cells. If at the same time we are introducing living food (vegetable juice) into our body, the process of cleaning and healing the cells becomes so much faster and more effective to the point that you will be a whole new you!

I recommend Juice Fasting as a natural way to treat health conditions related to aging, obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.

Twitequette.

Twitequette

Philosophies regarding social media networks, such as Twitter, can vary greatly. But similar to email, an unspoken etiquette has emerged for these social websites as well. The etiquette for these social sites does not consist of hard and fast rules, but is simply a list of guidelines for posting. The following is a set of Twitter etiquette guidelines, but can also be applied to other social networks...
1. Avoid Offensive Terms
People of all ages use Twitter, and Twitter is public... which means that in most cases, virtually anyone can see your tweets. Etiquette dictates that you should always use language that is appropriate for all ages and demographics. You never know who will be viewing your postings.
2. Avoid Inappropriate Avatars
Avoid using avatars that are risque or vulgar. Use an avatar that is eye catching and relevant, without being over the top.
3. Interact Interact on Twitter.
Twitter is all about engaging with others. Do not make the mistake of simply shouting your message without ever replying to or engaging with your audience.
4. Be Gracious
Thank those that re-tweet your messages, and reciprocate if someone suggests that their followers follow you too.
5. Don't Spam
Do not spam your Twitter followers with blatant advertisements and excessive repeated tweets.
6. Don't Offend Or Be Offended
If someone un-follows you, do not take it as a personal affront. There may be a number of valid reasons that someone stops following you. If, on the other hand, you have been abusing your twitter account, consider modifying your tweet schedule.
7. DM - Direct Message
Some things are meant to be public, while others are intended to be private. If you are sending comments meant to be private, be sure to use the Direct Message option.
8. Count To Ten
Don't tweet when you're angry or in an altered state. Tweets are hard to take back once they're posted, and even more so if they've been re-tweeted. While it is true that you can delete your own tweets, it is often difficult to put the genie back in the bottle after others have read your tweets and they've re-tweeted them.
9. Moderation
Do not twitter-bomb -- space your tweets out over an appropriate period of time instead of dumping a whole bunch in a single session.
10. Be Careful
Tweets are public. Be careful about the level of personal detail you disclose. For example, there have been documented home break-ins as a result of people tweeting about their travel plans and schedule details.
11. DO NOT TWEET IN ALL-CAPS
Just as it is with email, tweets that are in ALL-CAPITAL LETTERS are considered as "shouting". And in addition to being more difficult to read, posting in ALL-CAPS is often viewed as rude. Use proper capitalization when tweeting, and use all-caps ONLY for emphasis as we've done here.
12. Detail
When interacting on Twitter, use comments that will help others follow the conversation, since they may not have seen the initial tweet. For example, instead of responding to a request for more information with "You can find it here: http://www.domain.com", you might instead say "You can find software to convert images at http://www.domain.com". This will make your reply comment more understandable to someone who didn't see the original Tweet.
13. Hash Tags
Hash tags should relate to the content in the tweet. In other words, if the tweet is about software, you should not include a hash tag for Justin Beiber.

Sharon Housley.
