Same old New York Jets.

After dominating the headlines and the front pages of all New York newspapers, the New York Jets returned to form and played their way out of the Super Bowl. Fresh from an impressive win against the out of sync New England Patriots last Sunday, the Jets managed to look like the same old Jets against the Pittsburg Steelers. During the regular season, the Jets had enjoyed success against the Steelers but not this time.
They played their worst game since the 45-3 loss to New England, The Jets who were one game away from the second Super Bowl appearance in franchise history, were out-played, out-manned and out-coached in the first half last night in the AFC Championship Game. The final score was 24-19, a loss for the Jets who exhibited all their weakness on offense and on the defensive side of the game. The Steelers were very physical on defense and the Jets had no answer.
They shut down Pittsburg in the second half to make things interesting. During the regular season, the same Jets team struggled to beat Cleveland, Houston and Detroit. This team scored nine or fewer points in four of their five losses. Needless to say that the Jets had their trouble scoring points.
The Jets were a mediocre team with a magical run. It ended one game away from the Super Bowl.
Better Luck next year Jets Fans!
