Carmelo Is New York Bound.

Carmelo finally  became a member of the New York Knicks after weeks of negotiations. The Knicks paid a high price to get him but it appears that the New York fans are very satisfy about the deal. They are saying that he's worth it.
The Knicks did all they could to bring Carmelo Anthony to New York because Amare Stoudare alone wasn't going to make the Knicks anything more than an average playoff team.
This year, the team play great basketball and the Garden's faithful are once again falling in love with their team. So far, with all the all the upgrades and the fun, the team is on two games over .500. With the addition of Melo, one needs to start wondering about their potential first-round playoff opponents. Would it be Miami? Boston? Orlando? Can the Knicks improve to beat anyone of those teams?
Yes basketball is fun again at the Garden. It was already interesting without Carmelo and with him around now, they should grow to become a contender.
How good is Carmelo Anthony?
Carmelo in my opinion, is not a great player like Lebron or Koby. What he will do for you, is score points, a ton of points which is what the New York team needs. Melo will muscle his way to the basket every time he has the ball in the perimeter. He's the perfect man to help support Stoudamire. With Carmelo and Stoudamire scoring 20 to 30 points each per game, the Knicks are all of a sudden a playoff team and can possibly make some noise. They are not going to win a Championship anytime soon.
The New York Knicks still have work to do. They need to do something about their defense and also add a true point guard.
